Description

Hi Everyone, Here is a wider view of the ducks and goose from yesterday. Thank you so much for the favorites and comments on that photo, I am glad so many liked it. So here is a wider look to compliment as a follow up. The birds were about fifty feet I would guess from where I stood. The sun was late day about an hour before sunset. The pond is shallow but is about thirty six acres in size. Wet lands around it make for early coloring leaves of swamp maples. This makes for decent wildlife chances and an early fall photo area. There are no houses near, though a road passes on two sides within a hundred feet buffered by trees. Only a path to walk to the waters brushy edge is on one end of the pond. Thank you all for looking, -GB-

Wonderful view of your fall colors. It's quite an accomplishment to get this close to the really wild birds, and well worth the effort.

The duck's brillant green still stands out even from a distance. Nice of them to pose for you. The close up posted before this one was great. The detail on the feathers was like a painting. Very good. Both postings
