Description
This is Alice, the namesake for the Alice in Wonderland series. Her life is far different than the what we were told in the fairie tale.
Alice was sacrificed at a young age to Wonderland by her Grandfather. But unlike all those before her she returned to the real world leaving a remnant of herself behind in exchange for her freedom. Alice grew up and had a family of her own but having left a piece of her mind in Wonderland Alice gradually lost touch with all sense of reality and went insane before finally committing suicide in an unsuccessful attempt to sacrifice herself in her daughter's place.
I tried to make this one a little darker, not with lighting but with her expression. I wanted to pass on the weight and depression that was bombarding her from Wonderland.
This is GypsyAngels new character Deserie. She really is a beautiful character and she has so many different make-ups and lipstick combo's it is like having a make-up crew in your runtime!

Not the story I was told as a little girl LOL Beautiful render and I think you captured her sense of despair beautifully.

Roy, I think you did a great job on her expressions, and having recently gone through such a dark period I can well identify with this character; I think you captured the expression well. Not only does she look sad, she looks lost. Facing left is also a classic symbol of looking into the past. I wonder why you put her in a bright scene, unless you want to showcase the fact that for depressed people no matter how beautiful and warm the world is they cannot feel it or see it. All the beauty is behind her. You asked about a series and I will write you, but to my mind you have already found it. And it seems to sing to you on many levels. It is dark and dangerous but it may allow you to excise some demons.
