this is Gabriel Oak tree
In 1847, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem Evangeline had been read by many people around the world. A lot of people see the Evangeline Oak tree by the town square by the Church downtown. Few saw Gabriel Oak tree . so here it is. It the big twisted oak you see in the middle of the photo all spread out. It is a gaint of a tree for oaks.
I still have not took the photo of Evangeline but with the girl poseing in front of it and all you saw was a out of focus trunk of the tree. I will take a photo of it when the sun is shineing as I drive by it and have time.

on the left you see part of a cypree tree; note the diff type of leafs on the tree . It do have moss on it. It have no water close to it. Cypress trees can grow in the water or on dry land
