Description

I am giving Raskel the day off, lol. A lot of you asked what she was playing with or looking at in the photos and it was leaves blowing, she was playing with them. You should see her stare down a bird or squirrel, she is quite intense. Lol Also Bill and Harry asked about my classes, I have been attending classes that are offered through Wolf Cameras, they have been lots of fun and I have I hope learned a lot, I am also planning to attend school and workshop classes through Nikon, they are not offered in my area, other than Atlanta, so there will be a bit of travel included in it, but travel equals photo ops to me. Also I plan to attend a workshop that is given here in the Smoky Mountains it is a three day course and they are offered both in the spring and fall seasons. They focus on wildlife, landscapes, and macro photography and include field sessions held in Cades Cove . So anyone interested in joining up with me? This one here is from my trip to Chicago as I have mentioned before I think I could make a whole gallery from that trip alone. Hope you enjoy these; this was taken near Navy Pier, at the Chicago harbor. Hope all is well. Thanks for your comments and views on my photo below I sure appreciate your support. thumb_1949304.jpg

Nice image and tight ship. Looks to be about 25 feet. I wouldn't mind taking it for a sail on Lake Michigan. As for you, you're already good. The classes will probably make you crazy good. And then you'll be discovered and open your own gallery and George Clooney and Cortney Arquette will visit the gallery and then you'll go all Hollywood on us and before you know it you'll be the next Annie Leibovitz. You see how these things build on each other? ;-)

Stellar POV, DOF, clarity and mood in this fine shot, Lynell! When I read the title, Rainmaker, I instantly thought it would be someone who could be sent out here to good old dried-out Southern California to evoke some badly needed precipitation from the skies. And, I fear that after you're done with your photo classes that you'll put us all to shame with your newly acquired talents.

Beautiful photo. There is something so lovely about sailboats. I don't like sailing but I love to see them. Great capture.

This is a beautiful picture! It really draws me in. I just want to keep looking at it. I love the composition, colors and reflections. I also like the pattern that all the masts make. It stirs in me a desire to be going somewhere new. I wish it could be to the Smoky Mtns. Enjoy your classes!
