Description
I've been earning my keep by doing wallpaper for my wife's web sight. I wish I knew how bump maps worked. I did the textures in Corel.

Bump maps make surface texture "bumpy" /as name suggests/ by pretending, that darker areas are deeper than brighter. bumpy effect reacts to light in scenes, hovever, it dont displace geometry, and thus is not best solution for wieving surfaces at sharp angles. It is perfect way to add "texturing" to the surface, and its supreme cheap on comp. power.
