Description

I've been seeing posts of dew drops and water drops and have always marveled at the beauty of the shots! Today after it rained a bit, I went out with the sole purpose of catching the elusive raindrop on roses. (Sorry, no whiskers on kittens) Didn't find the roses but I found some mums that seemed a bit thirsty, so much so, that they were holding excess water within the blooms. I took a few shots of these as well as shots of water drops on grass and trumpet vines. I hope you'll find this as fascinating as I do! A neat thing about mums: the bloom in sequence, from south to north, and as the blooms die off new ones replace them following the same sequence. I don't know if this is normal for mums but I find it very interesting. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and have a great Sunday only postwork was resize and sig!

A little tip for you, you don't need to wait till it rains just use a small spray bottle on the flowers. Of course here in Tennessee we've have enough rain lately I don't need to resort to that. Have a great night.
