Description

KELLY: Babe, ya know I love ya as much as one straight girl can love another. VENYA: I know. I feel the same way about you... You're not going to kiss me, are you? KELLY: Duh! [SILENCE] VENYA: So, what brought that up? KELLY: Aw, I was just thinkin' that's all. About the future and such. I just wonder what's gonna happen to us down the road. VENYA: Well, we'll probably get married, have families, and grow old. And once we have shuffled off this mortal coil, we begin it all again. KELLY: I was with ya until that last part. I can only hope it works out so well... Which reminds me: how old do you reckon my grandma is? She would never tell me. VENYA: Hmm, I don't know. Her face looks young, but I'm sure that knee-length white hair doesn't just grow overnight... Here's something I don't understand: how is it that's she is your grandmother when you aren't the same race? KELLY: [sigh] That's a long story... VENYA: [turns to Kelly and smiles] I've got nothing but time. ---- And so we give Kelly and Venya a rest for a little while. There is one more image left in this series and then we will move on to a different time period. I'm hoping to do some more "fun" ones and fewer "soap opera" ones in the future. We might revisit these two someday. Hey, whose initials are those carved into the stone??
