Description

This is for Lucinda (myrrhluz), to make her smile with this gorgeous ancient Roman cat. It was inspired by her Daphne writing, to remind her what my mom used to say: once runs the prey, and once the hunter. Which means that sometimes roles are reversed by fate, and sometimes satisfaction is around the corner.My mom was a bit vengeful, and once told it to my headmaster, who had wronged me in her opinion. The headmaster was stunned!. This cat was the central panel of a floor in mosaic tiles. Museo Nazionale Romano. Thank you for your kind comments.
