Description
The earth has its seasons... the fall that prepares nature for its warm winter sleep... winter that is a time of rest and regeneration... spring that is an awakening of life... and summer that is the fulfillment of that new life. And so it is with us... we have our seasons... we grow and expand that which we are and, at some point, we discover that we have found peace in our valley of life. We do not always know it when it happens for it is truly a subtle and quiet event when it occurs. But then... one day... as if by a miracle of revelation... we discover that what we once felt was necessary... what we once felt that we could not let go of... has all changed. It is not our surroundings nor is it our possessions that have changed... nor is it the people in our experience who have changed. It is you and I who have changed... we have discovered the truth of our inner Self... we have discovered that we can and do live in the Now (no other when)... all that which is outside of ourselves is nothing but appearances that change from day to day... what never changes is the truth of our inner peace. It has been there all along... we just did not take the time to notice it. Perhaps... just perhaps... we have been living in the NOW all of this time and we only discovered that truth when we slowed down to the speed of life. What an amazing discovery that would be.

The script can be found on the Deviant Art web site in the fractal resources section. Post work was done in Paint Shop Pro. The inset image is the original flame. The main image was then run through the Mehdi Kaleidoscope 2.1 filter along with some other tweaking in PSP.
