This is just a poem a dear friend has sent me today! I needed it and it meant so much to me. I hope it will have some meaning for you too!
~ I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright
no matter how gray the day may appear.
~ I wish you enough rain
to appreciate the sun even more.
~ I wish you enough happiness
to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
~ I wish you enough pain
so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
~ I wish you enough gain
to satisfy your wanting.
~ I wish you enough loss
to appreciate all that you possess.
~ I wish you enough hellos
to get through the final goodbye..."

The poem goes beautifully with the your photo. Long ago I recall being told I'd never appreciate mountain top experiences without spending time in the valleys. Fits right in with your friend's poem:) Believe me it is good to be back...everything is going together again quite nicely.

Fantastic poem/song...and I love the photo that goes with it. The silhouette is really captivating and it reminds me of those acacia tree photos I used to always see in National Geographic. That's a good thing, because I think National Geographic is one of the reasons why I like photography now, and this is most definitely in that vein...nature at its most splendid, but it's subtle too...full of wonderful "little" details that you'd miss if you looked in a hurry. Great wor!
