Description

This one started out with some experiments with the "Winter Willow Tree" from Cornucopia - making some new wintertrees in the plant editor. Well, you know - they needed to be in some sort of winterlandscape and suddenly I was making this slightly frosty scene :) and on top of it I got an excuse for using some of the birds from the "Songbird Remix" (DAZ) which I've had for a while, never used them for real before. Vue 7.4 render, very heavy (the complex grass!) - 12 hrs. is by far the longest I've made with Vue 7, as far as I remember. Levels correction, lensblur etc. in Photoshop. All vegetation by me. I like how the grass is darker at the bottom and lighter at the ends. Very realistic. The ground and bird poses look good too. Nice job!

The frost is very beautiful it gives the scene a very muted and soft tone all over. The chickadees are a very beautiful touch. Wonderful job.

not only your image is great, but the realism of render is superb, nice touch of frost on the grasses....well I guess we are at the near beginning of the fall season in which I am not looking foward to because where I live, the winter is a nightmare in most years (smile).

Well, we had that already here in the Black Forest. Even in August some frost on the fields during a night. Very cool. As your image, very well experimented.
