Description
OK, I know that this isn't the best picture ever taken but the content is cool to me. Full size will help to see what I see.
This was taken Sunday morning after most of the fog lifted. Our eagle pair (yes Rob it is a pair - must be male and female cause as you said, 2 males wouldn't share the same pond) were out flying over the water. I tried to get some pictures of them but had a hard time seeing due to the glare of the sun and the angle of the shot from my canoe. It wasn't until I got home and looked at the pictures that I could see what I had.
A lot of sky and blurry images and this one of the lead eagle with a pike in its talons and the other following hoping for a share of the catch.
I've said that I never had a bad day of fishing and this is what I mean - I didn't catch any fish on Sunday but it was a beautiful morning and nature put on a show for me. That makes for a good day of fishing for me.

I think it's a lovely shot. The fog and the trees in the background make a lovely backdrop for the eagles. Excellent work.
