Description
This image is dedicated to Valery (Godin). She is one of the nicest ladies I know, and I am so proud to be her friend. She is an amazing artist, and her gallery is filled with images that can only be desribed as Heavenly. Valery is also a vendor, and her characters (Dena) and (VH Rose) are a pleasure to work with. For a long time Valery has been a dear friend to me. She is a loving friend, and has a inner strength that can't be matched. She always leaves such thoughtful comments for my images, and I wanted to do one for her. When Valery was a little girl she was kind and shy. Her parents could leave her alone, and know she was safe. Except for this one time she was tempted to have an adventure. I hope you enjoy her story.

Valery's Big Adventure (For Godin): Years ago in the Netherlands It was just after Christmas, and Valery watched the neighbor boys dragging Christmas trees into town. Every year the whole town would gather and create a fire with the trees. It sounded so exciting, and Valery wanted to go. Her parents were at work, so she hoped to go to the event and return before they were home. She followed the boys into town, and realized she was now lost and alone. Many people said hello to her, but none of them realized she was scared and crying. Finally a policeman saw Valery, and he took her to his home. She had a great time playing with his children, and his wife took good care of her. Later that night he got a report that a family was looking for a missing girl. The policeman took Valery home, and she was so happy. Her entire family was there to greet her, including Tippy the cat and her sister. Her Mom Rita was crying, and so happy to see her. Her Dad John thanked the policeman for bringing her home. Valery learned a lesson about going out alone that she never forgot.
Forgive me if I am quiet and slow to respond to your messages. My Mom collapsed the other day while she was shopping, and was taken to the hospital. She is home now, and the doctors are running tests on her to find out what happened.
