Monumenti
Santa Luce conserva tuttora i resti della rocca medievale. Il paese mantiene intatta la planimetria dell'antico borgo feudale: l'abitato, che ricalca la linea delle fortificazioni, si stringe a cerchi attorno allo spazio da cui il castello dominava la vallata. Tra le attrazioni di maggior pregio, la Pieve romanica (nella frazione Pieve di Santa Luce), l'oasi faunistica del lago di Santa Luce, l'ecomuseo dell'alabastro (parte di una rete museale che coinvolge anche Volterra e Castellina Marittima) e il villaggio disabitato di Monteforti, con i resti del Santuario della Madonna (un tempo il piu' importante della zona). Nella frazione di Pomaia ha sede un centro di cultura buddista tra i piu' importanti in Europa: l'istituto Lama Tzong Khapa, fondato nel 1977.
Monuments
Santa Luce still preserves the remains of the medieval fortress. The country keeps intact the floor plan of the ancient feudal village: the village, which follows the line of fortifications, narrows circles around the area where the castle dominates the valley. Among the attractions of greater value, the Romanesque Pieve (parish church in the village of Santa Luce), the oasis of fauna of Lake St. Luce, the eco-museum of alabaster (part of a museum network that also involves Volterra and Castellina Marittima) and the uninhabited village of Monteforte, with the ruins of the Sanctuary of the Madonna (once the most important area). Pomaia situated in the hamlet of a Buddhist cultural center of the most important in Europe: the institute Lama Tsongkhapa, founded in 1977.
