Description

these are 5 flames without the use of scripts, the way we use to do it.those scripts are awesome but I enjoy the other way also yesterday I went to my favorite local park to exercise and take pictures. well any way a man approached me and asked if he could help me. I said well if you have any spare money! he replied, I seen you taking pictures and wondered if you are from a magazine or what. I asked him who are you, and I have been taking pictures here for years. any way the director was near and he called him over.I already met him before. any way he said the first man is the new supervisor over the park. I think it is pretty dam bad when they start questioning people in a public park taking pictures.what the heck has this world went to? I know several key places has been put on alert for possible terrorists bombings, but a city park? get real people.the only thing there is some old antique farming tractors and some buildings that are rotting thanks for stopping and any comments

Gorgeous flame, Richard! I know exactly what you're talking about regarding the being questioned thing. I get it a lot around the small town I live in also. Pretty sad. But, keep doing what you're doing. They can't stop ya from taking photos. There is no law-yet anyways!

Fascinating fractal. I thought as you did until I learned there was a meth bust right next to one of our 'pocket' parks. We got stopped like that recently at a county park, and it turned out wonderful. I showed some of my captures on my LCD screen and the guy relaxed a lot. In fact, we went from suspicious strangers to catching up on the old times quickly after that.

Yeah, what Dave said. People are getting pickier every day about photos, so I have started carrying a sketchbook;) Your fractal looks like feathers to me!

A most marvelous fractal! Gorgeous and spectacularly colorful! A truly delightful work of art! I am sorry to hear about your photos in the park incident. This world is truly screwed up beyond belief. I have never heard of such an idiotic thing they did to you! The park must be run by lunatics! You have my sympathy at any rate for having gone through such a weird and wacky experience.

Beautiful use of the flames. Love the colors as well as the shapes. Excellent work!!!!! As for the nature of our current times, well, perhaps the less said the better. It isn't the country I grew up in, nor the one my ancestors migrated to over a century and a half ago. I fear for my grandchildren. But, then again, what can one really do? Try sketching in a public area, that will really bring out the Men in Black!

A wonderful picture, complex and colorful. Sadly drifterlee got it right. There was a story not so long ago about a 'photographer' being arrested at a public park for taking 'upskirt' pictures of little girls. Don't feel to bad. Between the terrorists and the perverts everyone, it seems, is paranoid these days.
