Description
While climbing through the dark damp chestnut woods of Las Medulas, Spain, (who said the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain?), merrily exploring the remains of the Roman gold mines, I came across this interesting character!
Reminded me of a buffalo (or should that be bison?) lurking in the woods ...

LOL, you are absolutely right!! It is a buffalo and a really great shot. I wonder what the story is behind that tree. He's an old timer.
