Near my mother's house in Ocala was the remnants of an old sink hole. Deep with pitted sides of loose dirt held in place only by palmetos and ferns and swamp trees. The morning mist would get caught up in this place so that I had an unease of sitting and watching the small hawks that dove for mice that scurried around the sink hole...snakes and gators waiting under the fronds for one bird to fly to close to the ground... The mood here is magnificent and the capture is too.

That's a fine vision, Tim. It looks to me like 'Primordial Florida.' Having spent many years in several parts of the state I can say with certainty .. it does not look like that to the average eye. This really is a Vision! Terry

it just amazes me how beautiful Florida is. even though i have several relatives living there quite happily, i'll admit to an intermittent wish that we could declare most of the state a national park. there's just no other place like it in the world. thanks for recording the beauty of such treasures, and for sharing it with the rest of us.
