For some reason they wanted the tank to have the russian star on it - this image was on the box cover - and so they wanted it all to be Russian for "Red Alert".

hehe damn... saw these in superplay magazine a looong time ago... so you made them huh? Great job man! Used to look at em and wonder if it was hard to make 3d images like this. It was partially these images that made me wanna learn 3d animation. Thanx for the inspiration man. hehe internet shrunk the wourld even more huh ;D
