A Voice Silenced, Peace remains on holiday, Democracy & Freedom eludes her once again.
As life looses its grip and the woman we once knew slips away, her last conscious thoughts in this earthly existence sing out.........
I am an endangered species but I sing no victim's song.
I am a woman, I am an artist, and I know where my voice belongs.
I am a woman, I exist I shake my fist but not my hips.
My skin is dark my body is strong I sign of rebirth, no victim's song.
They cut out my sex, they bind my feet, Silence my reflex no tongue to speak.
I work in the fields, I work in the store, I type up the deals and I mop the floors.
I am an endangered species but I sing no victim's song.
I know where my soul belongs......

System getting worse and worse still can't finish up any WIP's or do any new work. Installed Photoshop CS4 the other day and did this as a test so thought I would post as I have been wanting to do a memorial for Neda the young woman killed during the protest in Iran for some time. Please tell me do you think this picture is too dark; should I have made it lighter? Thanks and sorry for my lack of comments lately Steel

I do not think it is too dark, It has the right effect. Very surreal effect. This is a bold step for you. I have never seen your work take on this type of Art and it is good to see. It is excellent. I hope you will explore more types of work like this. I give it 1000 Rendered Stars and it is a nice tribute to Neda
