Description

Hello Everyone, I was helping my wife core apples so she could make a pie yesterday afternoon and my wandering mind begged me to take a photo. They looked like candles....and I wondered if they were put into little holes in the ground if they would grow into trees. Well enough babbling. Thank you for looking. -GB-

A very cool shot and they do look like candles. They probably would grow if you planted them, though they may not be so good to eat coming from a seedling and not a graft.

When I was a child I rescued and replanted a tiny sapling I found by our garbage cans. It turned out to be an apple tree and was taller than me when we moved. Wonderful idea for a still life, very nicely captured!
