Description

Got up early this morning and headed for another favorite spot of mine; a pond about a mile form the house. First time I have been there this early for a photo shoot. The geese at Lake Arbuckle serenaded me as I waited on the sun to come up. The lake is just a short walk from the pond and I hoped as the geese started their early morning flights they would fly over the pond, they did I was shooting in the other direction missed the shot, dang it. Thought they might come back or some others might fly by waited for a long time the rest flew across the lake I could here them couldn’t see them. By now I was losing the early morning light clouds going away it was time to go home, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Got several shots this morning that I like this is my favorite, sure would have liked a goose in it thou LOL. It was a beautiful cool morning and what great fun to be out by a pond watching the morning change with the light as the sun welcomes the dawn of a new day; birds starting to sing a fish hitting the top of the water. I watched the ripples he left behind as they lazily make there way across the ponds glass like finish; a moment of serenity. That’s when you know life does not get any better. Thank so much for your views and comments. Thanks for the favs. on my last post, each view, comment and favorite is very much appreciated. Have a great weekend!!

that is beautiful and the reflections could not be better. I was trying to capture a Blue Heron in flight and my XTi stopped working just as I wanted to shoot. later it started again with another battery.
