I love winter (almost obsessively), the time when the world itself somehow seems more vulnerable, and so much quieter overall. This image is so lovely, and a keen representative of both the season, and the stillness I always seem to long for the rest of the year, so delicate, and with the sparkling crystal details and mood it brings. I see a ledge fat with fluffy snow, and icicles just beginning to form. And the tiny peek of ice blue is over the top. Maybe we should get with Carol, stoke a fire, put on our favorite worn sweaters and fuzzy socks, and curl up with a few good books and some hot chocolate.. :)
