Il Parco regionale di Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli, istituito nel 1979, si estende per circa 24.000 ettari localizzati lungo la costa compresa tra Viareggio e Livorno. Pur essendo al centro di un'area fortemente urbanizzata, questo territorio ha mantenuto notevoli caratteri naturali, tanto che vi si trova uno dei rari esempi di area costiera non edificata.
Close to the Versilia a mosaic of natural environments
Migliarino Regional Park, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli, established in 1979, covers approximately 24,000 hectares located along the coast between Viareggio and Livorno. Although the center of a highly urbanized, this territory has kept large natural characteristics, so that there is one of the rare examples of undeveloped coastal area.
