Description
This is my favorite picture from my Washington trip. I've done nothing to it except a little dodging and burning. When I found it I just took what seemed like an SD card full of images. I wish I would have had the time to hike down there and get some from a different angle (but I was on one of thoses schedules which lets you see lots of things but not a lot of a thing.)
Antietk, thanks for your kind comments. I am totally new to this and never know if what I am shooting is any good until I get it home. Gald you are enjoying my trip. I will try to post a few more of my photos.

Great job of composition... Teh footsteps leading to the tree, the balance of the tree, stark and easy to find with the balance of the sea grass and the drift wood further in, all make for a very interesting and appealing shot. Wonderful job.

Wonderful image from auntietk's neck of the woods. This is a most pleasing composition with the subject being balanced by the green in the foreground! The blue mountains in the background give lovely depth! Great work!!! :)

How wonderful this is! Thank you! (I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get here -- I've been playing catch up.) The composition is great, with the tree off center (that's a very nice touch) and I love the expanse of sand in the foreground. It gives the feeling that there's plenty of room for me to wander into that shot and enjoy the beach. It's so inviting, I'm surprised you could resist the temptation to walk out there! Such a peaceful place ... Thank you again!
