I love the curves and the brush strokes in this. That eye has such a curious but hesitant feel to it. Love the running paint effect too... A great 'ART' piece Syyd... Love C..XXX

... and the Whistler of Time sharpens his axe, to harvest the shattered limbs of fallen trees!! (Interesting distorted face, enforced by the lighting and that semiorganic texture).

Now that I can see this I think it's fantastic! It has a gnarly, old man willow feel that's half intimidating, half comforting. You should really be illustrating childrens' books Cygnus. You have such a great imagination and paired with your artistic ability, well, I think you'd be great at it. xo- the masked frog

When I see a facial feature, such as an eye, my "mind's eye" tells me to look for other possible related features. I did. It was then that I saw the tree.

this is like a picture right out of a spooky children's story, the graininess and smooth coloring and shading really play it up. I'd like to see a little more definition on the tree though. the eye is a very nice touch... very convincing book illustration, wonderful =)

This is just Perfect Syyd. It's really organic, sculptural(u know what I mean). The glass effect has always been one of my favourites, glad to see it used with such excellent results. And the one eye staring...

Great. Bravely gone where no strict 3d purist goes. Into the Darkest of the Hillside thickets ;).The end image is EVERYTHING. No matter what it's beginnings were.
