Description

A few scenes from the Stone Brewery and Beer Garden in Escondido, California. In the background is a glass of their flagship brew - Arrogant Bastard Ale (motto: "You're not worthy") As you can see the bar and restaurant are pretty sparce - bare concrete walls and metal frames. The backside of the room is dominated by a wall of windows looking into the brewery itself. On the opposite the walls are made of roll up "garage doors". When the weather is nice they're rolled up allow the breeze to cool the inside and bring nature inside. You can see one down in the upper left and one rolled up in the lower right. The patio area and gardens are a great place to enjoy the sunny Southern California weather. The koi pond is a big attraction -it's feed from a stream tha originates in the bar and runs between tables and under a small bridge. In the garden there are several places to just sit and visit with a glass of your favorite brew. Hope you enjoyed this little tour.

Beer! Ale! Brew! I love it. I could live my entire life flitting around to such places all over the world! This is a fantastic collage as well. It gives such a great view of the place and imparts a mood as well. I love that, it all seems so relaxed and informal, so fun! I love it when pictures can convey that so well and elegantly. Great work.

Looks like a great place to stop and drink for a while, I wonder if your vision remained as sharp as your camera? In the UK we have CAMRA....the CAMpaign for Real Ale and they support small breweries across the country producing great flavoured beers with ever more daring names.
