Description

I would like to tell you that there is a story or even an intention behind this image, but there is not .. at least, not my intention. I was deeply distracted, while working in Poser this evening, by something that happened earlier in the day.  In the space where my focused intent should have been something slipped into and through the creative process. I'm left a little uneasy by a strange feeling I get looking at this finished image.  It's like I can't recall where the hell I was while working on it.  Does that ever happen to you? I know this sounds strange but I decided to post this tonight thinking maybe it has some significance for one of you visiting the gallery.  Then again, maybe it's just an odd sketch that bubbled up on a quiet Sunday night while I wasn't paying attention. I was initially wondering what the rest of the story was immediately after looking at her. Great work, btw, Lighting, composition. Beautiful and well done. (As usual!) Everything we do, ultimately is for somebody else. Often we don't even know what or how. Hopefully it is to the other person's benefit and not their detriment. The artist gets the benefit of the expressing while the viewer gets the benefit of the expression. So it's good that you gave this to us just in case. Thanks for sharing. We may never know the impact we have. All the best!

Sounds like you were 'in the zone'. The goal is to become so good at what you do that it becomes second nature. You can then perform in an expert manner without giving the task a lot of thought. It very Zen. So, I don't know, what do you think. Your image looks pretty expert to me.

Great lighting in this image that really shows her off beautifully. Maybe she was in your thoughts more than you realised.

I am with wysiwig on this one......maybe this face....this lighting was a vision you already had hidden in your mind...and in a relaxed moment when you were playing in Poser it came out....... Do it again....it looks great ... ;-)

First: most beautiful work! Your subconsious mind had your hands all to itself while making this wonderful image! Maybe the remains of a collective past? Nomatter what it was that made you create this.. it's very beautiful!
