I picked up Poser 4 in 1999 as a hobby connected to my gaming habit, intending on moving past the hand drawn character portraits I'd doodled since I was a kid.
Seven versions and a couple decades later, it's still a hobby, but a diversion too. And I still have a gaming habit.

Maybe a little post work lighting? Say in front of her and add a touch of a darker shadow onto the characters behind her? By the pose and expression one might think she was 'shielding' them? If so the girl behind maybe needs 'darker' eyes possibly. She just seems detached from his expression and the main characters expression. I do love the main characters pose and 'attitude'! :) Ariana

maybe showing what the guy is doing, right now he is staring at the wall, otherwise it looks great.

This one turned out great. I love the contrast in expressions. The hint of something sparkly/glowy in the lower left area might work.

LOL I know exactly how you feel. You stare at an image long enough, push pixles around on it long enough, and it gets harder to tell what it is that just doesn't sit right with you. In all honesty I think the image looks great. The only minor sugestion I can offer is that it appears that the light source is primarily from the left. Maybe if you appied some stronger highlights to the female standing, then applied shadows to the two crouching. Still I think the image works well as is, I love the female with the sword. :)

Its a great scene but tricky from a story perspective - its like walking into the middle of something while not understanding what went before and what is important. Like why is it necessary that she has a sword out and why is he hesitating over opening the vault on the wall. Not a fan either of using samurai swords and elves either but that's a personal quirk.

This is cool!!

Hmm, maybe try "cool" light fom the left: It will tend to emphasize the cold stone and the sense of foreboding? I like the image a lot as-is, but the overall effect of the lighting is "cheery" and "warm", but the characters don't seem that way. Notice the cool light already on the marble? I think that is the same color glow you should use from the left. My two cents, probably worth every penny LOL!

Beautiful render and poses, you don't need to change a thing on this, looks great already.
