Description

When I saw how this image turned out, it reminded me of my favourite song from my favourite Andrew Lloyd Webber play - The Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. Here is a short verse. "Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender Turn your face away from the garish light of day Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light And listen to the music of the night Let you mind start a journey through a strange new world Leave all your thoughts of the life you knew before Let your soul take you where you long to be Only then can you belong to me" Image taken September 26th, 2009. Thank you for your visit! Hugs, Carin xx

How lovely this is, Carin! But when I first saw it my eyes went to the stones and I thought, "Hmm, why does she have little potatoes around her candle?" Am I dumb or what? LOL! I love the gorgeous golden glow...

Well, I'm Irish and even I was taken in by the potatoes in this. I am growing some in my back yard that look just like this! LOL But, having the stones look like potatoes is not a bad thing...in face, so near a warming source, it would only be a matter of time before you had nice romantic roasted taters to nibble on with your after-dinner drink (I prefer gin before AND after dinner... LOL) Stunning shot with great drama and romance...

I LOVE that musical. We saw it live in Minneapolis. I LOVE this image, too!! Great job with the existing light. WOW! And no... they aren't potatoes, they are either almonds or Sugar Daddys!!

Utter and undeniable magnificence in this mood macro, Carin! Love the colors and captivating lighting effects. Incidentally, besides seeing it in the theater, I also have the DVD of the Phantom of the Opera movie, featuring your favorite song from same.
