Description
US B-47s bound for the USSR are intercepted by Soviet fighters. This never happened in the Bad Old Days of the Cold War but it could have if things had gone wrong.

Good picture. Without a fighter escort I cant think the B-47s stand much chance. You can coexist with bad, sane people but not with mad people. We survived Communism but they still believed in this world. The sort of people who commit suicide are quite mad. People like that are limited only by their capacity not their will. America and the willing allies attacked the wrong target. Iraq was never a serious threat but now the American public is unlikely to support intervention against Iran even though, this time, it poses a genuine danger.
