Description

Friends, Scotland sounds good... But where? Edinburgh or Glasgow? What would we do there and what were we looking for mainly? For the first time in Scotland I was interested in the Highlands, the famous Highlands, what else? As a Berlinian I am a lowlander, everything is low here, our mounts reaches giantic hights of 100 m or 300 ft., so "highlands" sounded as the pure adventure!!!! And I was not sure if I am able to drive a car on the "wrong side" of a street. (Sorry friends from the U.K. - I know WE are the ghostdrivers here ....LOL) We decided to found our headquarter in GLASGOW because it is near at Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, the west coast and a trip to Edinburgh is no problem, too. At the first evening in the U.K. I sweated blood and water when I drove our car, but then it was no problem. We had only one week to explore so much a possible, and we drove 1500 kilometer in this time. All pics here were taken in this week. This here is one of the main roads of Glasgow, the Great Western Road, who leaves Glasgow as M82 and leads to Loch Ness and Inverness. Pic was taken at nearly 22:00 A.M.; the evenings are very long here. Thanks for your interest for looking in and your comments for my older pics. A special "Thanks" for those of you who took pics as their favorites. billyboy. See you in the evening!

Not sure what is more enchanting the trip so far or your wonderful and charming narrative.. Pretty street, but ooooh no watch out for that black car you are about to hit it..!!
