Description

It is a sad day, my friend Pamela who took this pic, (has to be 9 years ago)has lost her lovely border collie, Archie, here with Carla 'B'. I feel so honoured to have been part of Archies life. Poor boy from the age of 2 has suffered from epilepsy (known in border collies) then he got pancriatitis. Since he was 2 years old Pamela has been ruled by time, with Archies tablets. I know how hard epilepsy can be as my beloved Hester got old age epilepsy at 11 & half years old, we NEVER left her 24/7. Pamela has had a horrible 6mths, she has lost her husband, Wayne, his sister, Katie her border collie & now Archie. Surely she has had enough!!!! Sleep well Archie, you were so brave, but couldn't go on anymore.

My thoughts are with Pamela, I know what its like to have a chronically ill animal. I hope that everything comes right for your poor friend, she really has had the most awful 6 months. Bless you little Archie, run free boy, run free!!!!

Oh Barbara I am so very sorry, I will say a prayer for Pamela to help keep her strong, she has endured more than anyone should have to bare this past 6 months. Archie was a beautiful dog in life and now he is at rest and free from all his earthly pain. He will live on in Pamela's mind and her heart, and his spirit is there patiently waiting at Rainbow's Bridge with his pal the border collie, for when they can be re-united with their mistress. Barbara I am heartbroken to hear the news of your friend losing her little Archie. Hearing she lost her husband and so many more is horrific and I'll keep her in my prayers

I'm sorry from my heart for Pamela, yes, it hurts terribly to lose a beloved animal. Somehow it's just not fair, why some people have experienced so much suffering. The photo is beautiful and certainly a lovely keepsake. I wish you much strength for the future!

Wow, you've said it all. All my sympathy to your friend Pamela. I had a year similar to this in 2007. But the uptick for me was finding and joining Rendo.
