Hello all ~
Â
My name is Sandy and I love to take pictures. I am definitley an amateur but once in a while I get lucky. I love God with all my heart, mind and soul and praise Him for the beauty of the world that gives me an opportunity to "try" to capture it on film (although I can never seem to capture it as beautiful as it really is!). I am a "cat" person and currently have two cats that own me so I'm sure my camera will be focused on them quite often.
Thank you for putting up with my efforts at photography. Hope you enjoy the pics!

This is cute, it reminds me of an email a friend sent me today about this cat that befriends a mouse, it is adorable.

Lovely pic, you caught the moment well. Looks very much like my cat Jemima. She's an old lady now, and deaf as a post. Doesn't do too much mousing these days, since mice started to get faster. A soft chair and a bowl of food are more her speed now. :)

Rooster is a beautiful cat! That is such a familiar hunting pose. My kitty used to pose just like that. Wonderful to see it again.

I love to see cats prancing proudly in with a prize in their mouths! As long as it is an inanimate object an not a bird, of course. Lovely capture of Rooster!

But they would certainly prefer a real mouse, but to me it is better she plays with a cloth mouse, they have fun, yes. Sweet Photo**

Sandy this is such a delightful photo of Rooster, and yes I can imagine him playing and having so much fun with his mousey. I love to watch my 3 cats as they play with their own special favourite toys too, they are all so much joy to me. Thanks for sharing this with us, hugs Jane xx

I had a cat, Natasha, who was an excellent mouser an curtain climber extrordinaire! Even with her claws clipped, she'd get right up to the curtain rod, hoist herself up and just perch there, precariously, before jumping down onto either my bed. I think she just did that for the fun of it. As for catching mice...well...I never had to worry about mice indoors. Any that came in for the winter were immediately dispatched and often left as little presents for me. It was sweet. She also murdered Q-tips quite efficiently! I love this picture in that it brings back memories of a memorable cat who now (unfortunately for me) has new owners.
