My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

This is gorgeous...one of my all time favorites! WOW! WOW! You know, if you like the doors in Chicago...and they are awesome...you should see the ones in Prague, even the grotty ones with peeling paint and communist era graffiti, but anyway, that's not really related to this! THIS is a gorgeous photograph. If you didn't say it was in Chicago, I wouldn't have guessed that it is, though the Gold Coast has some awesomely gorgeous doors. I love the clarity in this marvel, and th elight as well. This is amazing and it makes me want to live in Chicago...oh wait...I do live in Chicago! Well...this makes Chicago a bit more fun. Wonderful work!

You are absolutely right, old doors do hold some fascinations for me as well, probably because we can't get through them all...maybe a good thing ? Super shot, Cheers BB

I also noticed that you didn't include yourself in this straight on shot. Great capture and a door series is anticipated by me too. Dana
