Description

I have quite a few pictures from the brief time that Chicago was enhanced (immensely) by the official Renderosity Ninja Photographers. After taking an interestingly circuitous route to the Museum Campus (Why the bus didn't go straight down Michigan Avenue, I don't know...but I don't understand the logic of the Chicago Transit Authority with their annual budget crises and such.) Anyway, the wild gaggle of Renderosity Ninjas finally disembarked from one of those buses with the accordion-like segment in the middle, and immediately began snapping pictures (of fallen moons and each other...and anything else in camera range.) We also spent a lot of time going "oooh" and "aah" just like real tourists, but unlike tourists, we were having too much real fun, and...well...taking pictures of bug and small details and such things. It was a day full of fantastic moments, and this image marks one of them. I've always like Chicago's lakefront, especially near the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium. You can see the corner of the Adler Planetarium here.) Somewhere to the right, just out of frame, Cheri has just taken a photo of her own. I remember that distinctly, because she made that Ninja Photographer giggle that one always makes when snagging a good shot...a perfectly-timed shot. There were so many of those that day, and this is one of mine. I was also pleased that we actually had sunlight! As always, thank you for viewing and reading and commenting, and hopefully you're all having a great week.

It's so hard to remember that it's a lake, it seems as large as a sea! Great shot, and it does sound like you all had a wonderful time...

I think I was down even further to the right. How fascinating, to see other people's photographs when one was actually there, snapping away! The same place, yet a totally different image. I will remember that day as one of the happiest, relaxed times of my life. What a joy it was!
