Description

Cougar at the Asheboro Zoo, NC The zoo is a natural habitat zoo for the animals. They are not closed in a small area. So I was amazed the cougar came up so close. He was probably used to people or wished he could get at us. (as for lunch LOL) There was a glass barrier between us. which I am thankful for. There may be some reflection from the glass. The Mountain Lion has been here in NH for many years and recently ...finally the state has accepted that, though they insist the animals roaming are pets released by people. A friend of mine told me just yesterday of a four minute video taken about eight miles from my home of one. Great capture if its expression. Well done
