Description
I have been stocking this fella the past three days in the hopes to catch him catching dinner. He crossed the grassy area between the woods and my shop to get at the great wall of bugs (or the back wall), I have found him there waiting every day. Yesterday it happend, He cought and ate a grass hopper and I got the whole thing. But I have a problem uploading such a graphic photo??? They are very clear and show how he eats. What do you think? Upload or not?

Fantastic macro awesome detail and clarity, beautiful work!!

Excellent detail! The photos of nature have a place here, even graphic ones. My eye is on the posted section for many reasons, difficulty of capture is a high mark. Quality can be attained with expensive equipment, composure among other elements wins more looks than detail. A photo with it all tops the list of looks and praise. Certainly post your photo, those who do not care to look are not forced to. Those who take time to type a comment will let you know what they think. A few will appreciate the photo and your efforts will show its intent.

This is a fantastic shot! Even though I am the squeemish type, I agree with GBCalls. Post them. It is life!

There is something very special about a Mantis, one of my favourite insects, they have such grace and elegance, they also seem to be very patient, when they take a look at you... Thank you for sharing this little (!) miracle. Cheers BB
