Description
The seasons come, the leaves change and with it moods do as well. One has to wonder what more is left in this year, somehow the hope has dimmed. I wait for the light, but the light flickers out on me. I fear what lies around the corner. There was a time I felt confident, not anymore. Yet I try to be optimistic.
The girl on the swing is lost without her friend who has passed away. She sits and remembers, as the leaves gently fall around her.

A touching work about remembrance and grief. I love the colors, the softness, the romantic elements in this. And though the feeling is understandably sad, the vivid glow of the season around her and the fact that she is sitting on a swing at all compels me to believe she will find her way back to happiness, light and life soon.
