My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Neat pic. Looks like some logs washed up on the beach...historically, anything washed up is free for the taking by anybody who can remove it. Is it still this way? I've been to a house on Puget Sound completely built with reclaimed logs.

Don't work yourself to hard. I love the driftwood. We have a really big piece of driftwood Dave rescued sitting in the yard as a lawn decoration.

One of my favorite things, when I was near the Oregon and Washington coast, was a morning walk on the beach. It was amazing what washed up on those beaches. You have created a great memory with this posting. Dana

Splendid textures and capture! Love the colours, that gold tone is rich, and is definitely admirable, sending off a warm air. Most tranquil and serene place, it seems... stellar creativity and subject!

Oooh, I like this a lot! The colors are super! So warm and ruddy and fun to look at. I'm on this woodlouse kick and the wood here looks like something that would make me scrounge around, looking for little photographic crustaceans...But all of that aside, I just like this a lot, especially the way everything comes together, all those different textures playing around with each other and flinging light in all sorts of interesting directions. The post work is spot on and well...I love post work, especially when it's as good as this.
