Description

These days, Sicily has been mortally wounded. The incessant rain has caused landslides and floods taking with them destruction and death. I thank the friends of RR that have written worrying about me and my family. I live close to Catania, while the disaster occurred near Messina. This rose is dedicated to the flood victims, whose number, unfortunately, is likely to rise.

Questa rosa mi sembra la "botero" ed è una bell'issima interpretazione di speranza. Ma dimmi un pò, sei per caso dello scorpione?!;) Lo scorpione ha nella sua indole il coraggio di rivivere quando ormai hai perso tutto e tu con questa splendida dedi. infondi coraggio. Fantastic capture, Maria. Stunning light and quality. A very beautiful rose, on a sad occassion. I am happy to know that you and the family are safe. But i do feel sorry for those people who were hit by the tremendous amount of water, and drowned. Humans have mistreated and abused mother nature for a long time. For money. Unfortunately in good faith, that it would never have any consequences. But we see the consequences.. global weather becomes more violent. Poles are melting... major CO2 problems. I feel sorry for the children of the future, who is going to pay a heavy price for our mistakes and stupidity.+5

I was not aware of the destruction in Sicily. I was following the flooding in the Philippines, but never heard about your island. I am glad it did not effect you, but always sorry about loss of life from natural disasters.very beautiful rose and post work
