Description

This took 7 1/2 hours to render with ray tracing. At this small size. & that's just the fairy. I don't think its all that for the extra hours. Good thing it was bed time. Thanks for looking! Bg by Genefleeman. TY, Gene!

Very beautiful work! Love the colours and pose! I tried Ray-Tracing once! My fae had Maria's elegant wings and it took waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long to render. redid it with shadow-mapping: 1/7th the time.

That'll be the hair! Ray tracing likes to calculate the shadows for each strand!!! Cool render Angel :)

Beautiful work! Great colors and posing! It's true raytracing is a looooong process, with transmaps, I see two items here that cost you, the hair and the wings. Since you have nothing, that I can see, that needs reflections if you go into the advanced settings and turn raytrace down to 1, it may render faster. If you've already done that..wow, that was my first, best and last suggestion to lower render time! lol

Lovely image, she looks lovely Angel, even if she took a while to render.. I know what you mean about the time thing with Raytracing I had one pic that took 18hrs to render :-( Use Deep shadow map now way faster...

yeah this raytraycing i seldom use almost never,maybe on one spotlight but..takes ages even with big machines.,i am too nervous for the results i always was.but hey thats me.
