Description
Point Lonsdale. This area is dotted with WW2 pillboxes, but I am not 100% sure whether the structure in the left of the shot is millitery or just an old navigational beacon. It just looks totally different to all the others. I don't know much about them, but all the others have the 'slot' going sideways!

Amazing discovery, never seen them anywhere else before... Quite a treat, those pillboxes...that's history ! (some of that is good to be forgotten) What a beautiful, clear and detailed capture. Cheers BB

I've seen lots of WWII gun emplacements but none like this. Fascinating patterns on the beach...rock I presume?

Looks kind of 'obvious' for a pill box.. They tend to be low and hidden.. But this is an outstanding shot.. What a POV.. Lovely.... Well done.. Rob
