Description

I had this shot taken with a 10mm ulta-wide that originally was a bit.. well naff. I've spent some time in photoshop with it, any criticism welcome. Was going for the old postcard/old photo style

The Boston Globe used to have a weekly feature where they compared a vintage photo to a new one that was a close in perspective as could be. This looks like it could be a blending of the two. An old photo with modern details (not to mention the building; is this the one called the bullet?).

Fantastic. I just saw the grunged version of this and I liked it immensely. THIS one has a wonderful sort of clarity to it that I find surreal. That works perfectly here, as its already a blend of architectural styles (old and ornate mingled with new and limited by the constraints of prefabrication) but all of it works so seamlessly, so perfectly. I love the mood.
