Description

Zoom in please I'm not a cook nor a canner but since I grew a garden this year I just couldn't see the excess veggies going to waste so I took the advice of people here and I froze some tomatoes and last night cooked and canned these Italian stewed tomatoes from a recipe I found online, It is very labor intensive but I like to try many things in life lol .... and these actually taste very good!! Oh and also I did freeze apples, tomatoes, cooked and froze rutabagas, canned pickles, HEY!! veggies are high priced this year because of a cool summer but I did it also just to see if I could accomplish it [^______^] Cheers, Roger

My mom canned stuff all the time so I grew up watching her do it - but I never saw her using anything like them there blue thingies! What are those? Even in large view I can not quite make out what I am looking at. Course of of that is due to this super duper sinus headache I have at the moment making my eyes a bit blurry!
