Met this handsome guy down on the pumpkin farm.
For those of you unfamiliar with an American "corn dog"...
"The corn dog, pogo, dagwood dog, pluto pup or corny dog is a hot dog coated in cornbread batter and deep fried in hot oil, although some are baked. Almost all corn dogs are served on wooden sticks, though some early versions were stickless."

I have a vine growing that is in the squash family and it is bitter as all get out.must be soaked to remove some of the bitterness. well, the point is my recently deceased dog would eat them things raw and the big German Sheppard would also. she has quit since the other dog died.I would think the dog that died would eat corn on the cob also.she had a voracious appetite. very humorous Bill. thanks for sharing this
