Did you know that this structure began life in Northern Cape Cod on the opposite side of the U.S. in 1881? In 1922 Mayo Beach where it was located was closed and the property sold. In 1925, this tower was bought by Pt. Montara and relocated there. I thought this information was fascinating! and so is your photo...its what made me go looking for it's history. :-)
