These Rescue the Princess Scenarios never seem to go smoothly.

Actually the rescue was easier than you think. It only took one clever hero to pull it off. Seems like he waylaid some unsuspecting troll on the way, stuck him in a dress with a wig, and dropped him outside the door where these baddies were holding the princess hostage. He then knocked on the door, threw a bucket of water on the sleeping troll in drag to wake him up, and hid. The rest as they say was easy. The dwarf opens the door to see who it is just as the troll in drag is coming around, shaking off his stupor, and lets out a cry and makes a run for it as the two troll guards suddenly go all moon-eyed and bang the dwarf on the head (cause he is in the way) and make a beeline for him. Our hero walks in, the snake prudently decides to hide beneath the fallen dwarf rather than face down the hero's sword, as he inturn frees the princess and is on his way, mission accomplished. Its all in the timing. :O)

I'm not sure which is funnier the scene that you've created or Rob's description of how the rescue is accomplished. Great work to both of you!

this is a great scene, their expressions are funny and well done. rescues are a funny business, so many things can go wrong. (well, except in Rob's version everything went right. LOL) good work, those trolls always creep me out!

The way I see it, the hero has only one chance... First grab the snake as it lunges to strike, turning it into a whip lash! Two quick smacks to the trolls, one strike across the eyes, one to the other's groin, then wrap the snake around the dwarf's neck, choking him out! It's fool proof! ^_^ Cool looking picture!
