Description

Ahhh, another red upload .. lol I got a remote control for my new Nikon D90 and I have been trying to get the perfect drop shot. Some of you old timers remember Zacko! , one of Renderositys finest of all time (IMO); he is King of Drops! (King of many things actually ... ) Anyway, I doubt I'll ever be as good as he is with this sort of thing, but I sure have fun trying! He has given me basic instructions on how to go about doing this ... so, thank you once again Andreas! Thanks for stopping by .. hope you are all doing well. Shari ***************************************************************** ***************************************************************** Thank you for your kind comments and Favs on my previous upload!!: "Happy Birthday elfin14doaks". Cheri, I am SO GLAD you had a wonderful day!!! ((hugs))! thumb_1955827.jpg

Pretty amazing shot. You could probably do this for hours. I'll have to give it a try. Excellent colors and lighting, by the way.

Very nicely done. I hear one has to have the patience of a saint to be successful at this sort of shot. Being the sinner I am, I've never even attempted it... You, on the other hand, must be sporting a pretty good sized halo!

Yes, Andreas is the king of the drop shot as I see it. I can see his influence in your shot. :-)

Say, I remember the legendary Zacko, a terrific photographer, not only of drops but also of beautiful models and frozen countryside. Considering it's among your first attempts, a stellar result in this shot, Shaz! The focus and timing can be a bear. Is that liquid supposed to be claret or Jello....or, per chance, blood?

I am glad I clicked on this image this morning. Zacko's gallery is at a whole new level...I had never seen his photos, mixed medium, etc. before. I have recently been dabbling very unscientifically with trying to get a drop shot. This shot of yours is really classic...but how did you get the color red? Doesn't look thick enough for blood:-)))
