A ruined turret, Nunney Castle. A castle apparently built by someone in the mists of time, for no other reason than he could afford to, East Somerset, near Frome

Great view of (like me) wonderful ruins. The castle was built for Sir John Delamare in 1373. He was a veteran of the hundred years war, later to become the sherrif of Somerset.
