Description

I saw this building along the main drag in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Buildings like this one remind me of the fact that this part of the country at one time belonged to Mexico. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer of these kinds of buildings are around and this one was condemned by the city. This picture was taken on 4 October 2009. Thank you for viewing, commenting, and favs, Sig...

What a great building! Too bad it's fallen to rack and ruin ... but it still has charm. Nicely seen, and a wonderful image!

Preserving history with this capture. A shame that it will be destroyed. Might have been a great fixer-upper for some retired guy. Nicely seen and captured. Dana

I imagine it must be all supported by wooden posts and beams...now probably split and coming apart. Any termites down that way? ...wouldn't think so.

Well, it doesn't look too bad to me, but then I'm not an architect or lining my pockets... Cool shot, Rob
